After 15 years in healthcare - working in Quality improvement, Project planning, change management, and policy research- my life pivoted following my daughter's experience with Long COVID.  That journey revealed the profound gaps in care, research, and policy for children enduring complex illness in silence. <div dir="auto">I now channel my expertise into advancing the agenda for Pediatric Long COVID in Canada, ensuring lived experiences of children and youth living with Long COVID inform policy decisions and guide evidence-informed research.</div>

Dr. Maxime Sasseville is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Nursing Sciences at Université Laval and a researcher at the VITAM Research Centre – Sustainable Health. His work focuses on the implementation of digital health interventions, the use of patient-reported outcomes, and the responsible integration of artificial intelligence within health systems, with particular attention to ethical, methodological, and data governance challenges. He is currently contributing to several pan-Canadian projects aimed at evaluating, in clinical conditions, the impact of these technologies on clinical and organizational decision-making.

Dr. Diana Sanchez-Ramirez is an associate professor in the department of respiratory therapy at the College of Rehabilitation Sciences. She is a registered physical therapist with clinical experience, passionate about identifying ways to improve health-related quality of life in people living with chronic conditions, including lung diseases and long COVID.
