About
Dr. Abdellatif Abouelseoud, currently is completing his Postdoctoral research training in biochemistry and molecular medicine in the laboratory of Dr. Alain Moreau at the Department of Molecular Genetics in Musculoskeletal Diseases at CHU Sainte-Justine Hospital Research Center, University of Montreal. He is also is a writing contributor of the National Oral Health Research Strategy (NOHRS).
Before his postdoctoral position, Dr. Abouelseoud had completed his Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry (BDS) from the Dental Faculty at Mansoura University, Egypt. After a brief time working as a GP Dentist in Egyptian governmental hospitals, He started a higher diploma study of the dental specialty of Endodontics and finished by 2010 from the Dental Faculty at Cairo University, Egypt. Thereafter, he was employed as an endodontist in a private dental center in Cairo.
Subsequently, Dr. Abouelseoud decided to pursue more advanced studies in the field of tissue regeneration. It was his profound hope to be admitted to a doctoral course in Japan, which is superior in the research field among advanced countries. Dr. Abouelseoud's goal was not only to acquire academic knowledge but also to build an integral and successful scientific career. He earned his Doctoral degree (PhD) in Biochemistry and Molecular Dentistry from the Graduate School of Medical, Dental, and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Okayama University, Japan.
